Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. How to deal vs horse archers. Horse archers are the bane of infantry so keep your expectations low. Just put them in loose formation in front of you archers so they catch a few arrows for them. Best strategy is to basically send in whatever cavalry you have to slam into the horse archers. So the mercenary pay works off of influence. Someone posted a more in depth guide, but you can get paid more by donating prisoners (any, bandits, looters, soldiers or lords) to a castle or town. It doesn’t go by region or anything like that. You can also gain influence by donating troops to a garrison. You just left click and hold, drag and drop. You can also assign troops to different units. Look for the Roman numerals. #1. Blind-Striker Apr 13, 2020 @ 8:30am. Hi, I developed a mod that does sorts units in the party. Take a look.

Mercenary contracts last for 30 days in Warband, and can be renewed for another 30 days. The contract can be renewed indefinitely. In With Fire & Sword, the initial contract is 90 days, though renewing it will still be for 30 days. Mercenaries will be paid a random amount every week. Being a mercenary is a good way to lead-up to becoming a

Intriguing, would like to see this. a) When a kingdom has been at peace for a while and you have decent relations with villages. You get so many recruits, and mercenaries in taverns, that if you have money you can build an army pretty fast from nothing. Especially with high training skill.
Wages are automatically paid to your troops every 168 hours (seven days) in every game up until Bannerlord, which pays wages daily. In order to get negative influence you need to attack a faction that you’re not in war with which immediately declares war and tanks your influence. So you need to win battles with enemy lords in order to raise influence and clan level quick.
Tia. You used to be able to assign specific units to specific groups, but they removed it. (They're working on bringing it back, though). go back to 1.6.5. The best thing I have found out now is to make a new control group for infantry in your case. and prioritise the weapon type of the mercenaries (aka shield, polearm).
Press L for clan window. Click the parties tab. Click the create new party button. Well, that sucks dude, you're supposed to go straight from merc to actual vassal after you hit renown 150 by asking your Faction leader. You have to eat those penalties or start fresh it sounds like.
