I'm not gonna make a long post just one simple remark:I love building stuff for my members, with the decorations in the guild hall there was so much potention to make amazing stuff and make the guild hall a place where people would be in awe once they entered. However seeing as the types of decor
Add crafting stations, Raid, fractal and dungeon entrances. At the moment, VIP Lounges are better guild halls than guild halls themselves; Implement a housing system (to this day, this is my biggest wish for guild wars 2 but I'm a roleplayer so take this wish with a grain of salt)
Guild Enhancements are buffs that, once unlocked by a guild, can be obtained free of charge from a vendor in guild halls. Only one can be active on a character at once, but they can be switched at any time by buying a different enhancement from the vendor.
Individual player housing is quite limited and is more a place for resource nodes that you can collect. It can be fun for a completionist but the average player may find it lacking. The guild halls are much more involved and are more guild housing. There is actually a lot of customization here in terms of decorations.
I also assume you need a guild hall for these upgrades, so at the very least you are looking at around ˜500g for this upgrade from the looks of it. Edit: I just checked out of curiosity and the guild also needs to be level 20 for the trove. As you only level the guild when completing previous upgrades my estimated cost ran up to 2000g (not
Guild Hall Arena Update question (Open world PvP restricted to Guild Halls) [Discussion] Can someone explain to me why Guild Wars 2 seems to be the only game that refuses to allow players to duel in open world? Every MMORPG I've ever played has this function. It's like Gw2 purposefully goes out their way to implement this simple function.
Nightfall. Eye of the North. Upkeep cost is a sustained resource cost of certain skills without a specified duration. Each upkeep requires 1 pip of energy regeneration to keep it up. Upkeep skills can be removed by the caster by double-clicking on the associated icon in the Upkeep Monitor .
Will the process of capturing the new guild hall be like it was for the HoT guild halls of paying for it and then doing the events inside to capture it. Just want to know as my guild wants to go for it right away and we are trying to figure out if we need to get a group together to do a capture event of fighting things to get it.
My partner and I captured the Isle of Reflection easily within the time limit. But also worth noting that I raid. Partner was playing a half geared character. We were both condi scourge. I can see how players with less dps output might need one or twomore players to help out. But otherwise, much much easier than previous guild halls
First off, welcome to GW2. I suppose I'll be the one to burst the bubble. You won't be able to maintain the guild hall on your own very much. The time and effort to outfit the hall as a solo player just wouldn't be worth it. My own guild hall is maintained by around 5 close friends and that goes slow enough.
Put 3-5 of them together in a step pattern, climb to the top and delete the lower ones, replacing them in a step pattern leading further up. start in the center of the guild hall just south of the wp and kind of keep near the sun beam that shines straight down as it leads to an opening that in in the top of the hall.
