To remove sounds from this mod you need to delete "sound" folder from it. In case you want to remove HUD icon and script from a mod to avoid consistency problems on some servers you can delete "scripts" folder too. Step 4. After removing sounds you must drag and drop "division_vector_silenced_smg" folder on top of the vpk.exe.

There are config files in your l4d2 folder steam\steamapps\common\left 4 Dead 2\Left4Dead2\cfg\. I set my keys and set config.cfg (in your case config.360.cfg) to what you want it to be, then set the file to read only. This should fix it for you. This been happening to me for a year becz I use a controller.
